Ok, I was incorrectly thinking it was a full size gun. It makes sense now.

Like TAM said, cops go looking for trouble. Most of us don't. If I am ever in a gun fight, it will be because someone misidentified me as a soft target, or else I wandered into a part of town where I shouldn't. I try not to let either happen.

I am a little confused. Isn't that the M&Pc?

I guess best solution, EDC with 31rd and rifle in the trunk of your car with 210 rds. If this is not enough call in for an Air Strike. :hurry: :hurry:

I mean the G19-sized M&P that is rumored to be in the works. I guess I should have been a bit more specific. The M&Pc is just a bit too small in the grip relative to how thick it is. (IMO)

I always say that the human body is both amazingly fragile and incredibly durable. There are stories like this, and people having to cut limbs off to get out of being trapped. Then there are the people that slip in fall in the shower and poof, dead.

Yep Jago during my lifetime I seen some things what still blow my mind. A lady slips and falls breaks her neck and dies in the yard still holding her baby. Grandma saw that one, I was hit by a car doing 30 miles a hour got Knocked over the car and got up and walked off. I saw a guy come into the ER with 32 357 mag police loads shot though him and it was a ole 12 gauge rifled slug that finally stopped that Angel dust hopped up fellow . Emt said the bound to been bleed out before the 12 gauge shut him down.

Wow, what a life changing event.

To each his own but there is no way I would give up a .45 for a 9mm. If you read this story, the .45 acp did exactly what was expected. Most of what I see came down to the last three rounds placed on target. .. placement.
All of the other rounds were out of desperation. No way a 9mm would have been that effective Going through a windshield. I carry a 45 acp as my edc and would carry more rounds of it if needed before going to a smaller round. I also carry a AR 15 in the trunk. Glad the officer came out alive but the 45 did indeed do it's job. Ammo did not save him, shot placement is key all day everyday.

The story mentions the LEO now carrying 33 round magazines for his Glock. I have one of those for my Glock 26. Seems like you can shoot all day with the thing. Unfortunately those are not practical conceal carry.

Your right about placement. A 9mm round will stop a person just as much as a 45 round will if its his the right spot, like the brain or spine for example. 9mm will go right through a windshield and still be effective. Again, placement is what counts.

I have first hand experience in what a 9mm can and cannot do. I know what a 45 acp will always do.
There is a reason why the FBI asked Smith and Wesson for a upgrade to the 9mm.....
Carry what you like, carry what you will, carry what you want, but I will always carry and that carry will be a 45 acp.

40sw, 45acp, or 357 is what I like but the real question is what can you get up and on target when it counts.

My life event is what pushed me in the 45ACP decision and it has yet to let me down.

If you can only handle a BB gun, guess you better use it or stand in the corner and shake until help comes along?

Never meet a gun or a woman I couldn't handle!
