I got my discount.

I had an issue with my CC not being accepeted on the web site, so I had to call them.

It was actually after the end of the discount when they finally called me back, but they said they would still honor the discount, and they did.

I've emailed them multiple times and have talked to Lisa twice about not receiving my discount.

Each time I talked with Lisa, she would take down my order number + name and say that she would look into it.

I didn't get a reply to my first and 3rd emails. They replied that they would look into it on my 2nd email.

Each time after the emails and phone conversations, I would check my credit card online a few days later. Nothing. No credit for my order. It's not the $ that bothers me, it's not getting a discount after it was promised.

I had to place another order last week. I was going to wait for the next group buy, but went ahead and just ordered from Montana Gold instead. Montana Gold's price is pretty good if you order in the case of 4000.

Maybe the question should be if anyone who ordered online received their discount?

That's already been answered. Look at the posts above yours.

Pardon me for asking this but I am not familiar with Precision Delta. I have read their site and done internet searches and such. My question is I notice they offer a load with the Hornady XTP bullet. I use the 147gr. JHP from Hornady for my CCW carry round. Are these rounds from Precision Delta considered a reliable round for defensive carry? Product Detail: P9147JHP - Precision Delta New Ammo. Thank you.

The only thing in the TexasCHLforum bulk order were bullets, no loaded ammo. I think they sell factory ammo from various manufacturers, but I don't think they load any ammo for sale. I could be wrong.

Thanks,
Chas.

I see a guy at the range regularly shooting ammo from a Precision Delta box, and their "Training Ammo" states "Reused Brass". For example:

Product Detail: D147JHP - Precision Delta Training Ammo
9mm Luger 147 grains
Hornady XTP JHP
This is a Precision Delta product
This is remanufactured ammunition, with re-used brass

Shipping weight is 28 lbs.
$318.35 per 1000
Contact Precision Delta for Shipping Charge
Price including shipping to : $318.35

That certainly gives the impression that they load ammo as well as sell components and factory ammo.

Apparently I am wrong about selling their own reloaded ammo.

I still haven't heard anything from Precision Delta about another bulk order. There was apparently a miscommunication within the company and the first bulk order should not have been approved since the orders were not going to a single shipping destination. I made that clear when I set it up. I have spoken to Precision Delta twice and I was to have been given an answer several weeks ago, then again three weeks ago.

My guess is that they don't want to do it but they don't want to tell me that for fear of alienating a lot of TexasCHLforum members. I fully understand if it doesn't work financially for them and I'll keep ordering from them, but I would like a final answer.

It figures...too good to be true. With their prices, I'll use them anyway.

If anyone in the Corpus Christi area wants to set up a group buy, I'll run it. I figure that reshipping might get tricky to come out even upon, so local pickup or meeting in the CC area only...

I have been a long fan of Precision Delta bullets and have purchased a fair amount over the years in both .45 and 9mm.

I have a real problem with them of late and it will effect who I get my bullets from in the future. I ordered 2000 rounds of 147 gr 9mm on 12 March 2009. I was not informed that there was any problem until well over a month later when I CALLED THEM to check on the order. I was told that there was a delay and they would do their best. I then got an e-mail saying that the order would be filled in late April to early May. After that was not done, I checked again and was told that it would be early June. I then got an e-mail in June saying that the order would be done first part of July.

I called today and I am on the first of multiple pages of orders for 147gr 9mm and that maybe I would get my order but they were running out of "jackets" for the 147gr and there might be even more delay.

4 months is bad, but this ongoing problem with delay tactics has made me decide that I will go with other companies in the future, even if they are a little more expensive. If you can't fill my order, then allow me to decide and if you can't do the job....refund my money and I will go somewhere else that can. Right now, and as THEY explained it to me....this will be ongoing well to the end of this year.

You have orders in? You decide. I have. :mad5
