Hornady L&L AP with Video Powder Check

I added,
1) A video powder inspection stage to my Hornady AP.
2) Primer slide locked-back siren and Flashing Red warning system. You hate to powder and seat a case with no primer, no?

Here are some photos and video for the warning system.

That's pretty slick, I usually run batches of 100 so I don't run out of primers 1st. I run into problems when I don't get a good constant primer feed.

Or
1) When the primer pocket is crimped, or
2) Shell plate is loose and not indexing properly
3) primer get stuck above the primer slide
4) primer is reversed and loaded upside down
5) when you see powder all over the shell plates.

Live with AP and you would be expert in a matter of days. :biggrinjester: :biggrinjester:

I seem to have most of my problems with Winchester large pistol primers. CCI runs great.

Got some info (links) regarding the video inspection system?

Is that a homemade rig, or a new add-on that Hornady is selling? Either way, pretty neat. I can see where w 5.56 it's hard (or impossible) to do a powder check w the nekkid eye.
