Another eye-opener about sales hype v. actual performance.

Excellent Video.
Down to earth presenter.
Just Ole Gold Dot 124gr +P is good enough for anything.
The new fashion is the Federal HST 124gr

Those HST's are gnarly! It was my choice in .45 before I got into 9mm after reading the article/research by "Lucky Gunner." Now after doing further reading, the bullets seem to have the best performance between penetration/expansion/velocity in most calibers, without digging into the designer rounds.

I have been a big fan of Speer Gold Dots for many years. This confirms all my confidence in that Personal Defense Round.

Guess I’m “fashionable” then, I carry 124g +P HST in my M&P Shield and 147g +P in full and compact M&P’s.

I had Gold Dot and now I switched to HST. Both are excellent bullets.

I rock the ones in the middle. The lucky gunner tests and other reading is why I selected the HST.
