Jim Dark, Executive Director of the Texas State Rifle Association, was interviewed on NRA News today (July 27). He said that the duty to retreat is "toast" politically in the next session.

Man I hope so. That is the reason the gangs own the streets. Decent people had to retreat to the home & phone 30 yrs ago & the police got there "when the could" since no one got hurt & then the went to look for the thugs "when they got time" after that.

I bet crime goes down that quarter when it passes. Would say day/week but it will take them a few days to get whats going on.
