I was just casually checking The Legislature's site; HB 823 was signed into law by Governor Perry today, 6/16. Effective 9/1/05.

Thanks for the update. By the time I renew my CHL again I'll be past 60. The legislature and the governor did well by the seniors of the state.

Which one is 823? I have trouble remembering the date, much less all these bill numbers.....
