Microsoft Outlook 2010

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

My wife and I both run Outlook 2010 with the preview pane on. On her machine, the sender and subject line are displayed, but there's also an annoying short description or quote appearing in blue font immediately below the sender's name and email address. My machine doesn't have this blue text and I cannot find how to turn it off on hers. I've looked at Lynda.com, Microsoft's website and I've tried to search for this issue.

Has anyone had this problem?

Thanks,
Chas.

Try View tab - Change View - Compact.

Thanks guys, that led me to the problem. It was already set to "compact," but something must have changed some settings. There was an option to "reset" the defaults and that did the trick.

Thanks again,
Chas.
