Please respond to this CTA and get your family and friends to do likewise. Gun owners have a powerful voice, but only when they use it. Don't rely upon someone else to write and call.

I'm getting fax machines at the first three numbers I've called on the list of committee members.
I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal

When accessing the Call to Action from the web site home page, SB283 appears on the second paragraph under "SB273 does not reduce current governmental authority".

Re: Call-To-Action: SB273 Re Unenforceable 30.06 signs
Sent email to the Lt. Gov and will follow up with a call.
I also called District 4 Senator, Brandon Creighton's Austin office, (512) 463-0104 (Beaumont - (409) 838-9861
(409) 838-9837 (fax),and spoke with Scott Marks, an aide.
I could not get an answer as to Creighton's position on the bill other than, "needed additional research before he could co-sponsor" and "of course the senator supports conservative values". I explain why the bill was important and that it would be a big disappointment if the senator did not become a cosponsor. Mark did not convey the senator's position either way.
I urge all in District 4 (Southeast Texas) to call and politely request that the senator get behind this important bill.

There are still reasons I keep a standalone fax machine. It'll be fired up later this afternoon.
Thanks, Charles.

Re: Call-To-Action: SB273 Re Unenforceable 30.06 signs
I don't have access to a fax machine, so I used the Texas Senate website email portal for the Lt Gov, each of the senators on the committee, and my district senator. So far, I've only received the automated responses from about half of the group.

Done. I don't have ready access to a fax, but I emailed those that I could, and phoned the others.
The Senate website contact form is squirrelly. Some went through, some didn't. Like I said, I called those that I couldn't mail.
