House of Representatives who oppose the 2nd Amendment

#1

Post by Hyunchback »

Let's face it. If a legislator isn't backing Heller in DC v. Heller he's against the 2nd Amendment.

The following is a list of Texan members of Congress who stand in direct opposition to YOUR rights being recognized. Remember their names. Take no excuses or flip flopping. They are an enemy of the 2nd Amendment, no matter their reason.

Al Green - District 9

Charles Gonzalez - District 20

Eddie Bernice Johnson - District 30

Lloyd Doggett - District 25

Ruben Hinojosa - District 15

Sheila Jackson Lee - District 18

We are not able to vote out Congressmen or Senators (Both Clinton and Obama are in opposition to Heller and the 2nd Amendment) who are not from Texas but we should work to make sure that ANY person Texas pays to go to Washington supports our Constitution and doesn't try to spin it to fit some latter-day liberal interpretation. :txflag:

I'm not surprised that Hinojosa is on this list. It frosts me that I live in his dostrict. I met him once a few years ago (when redistricting had just taken effect and snipped my area off of Ron Paul's district and grafted it on to his) and questioned him point blank on his position on the RKBA. He claimed to be pro-gun and pro-2A, but I could tell he was lying. Typical Washington windbag.

How do people like that ever get elected to anything? It boggles the mind.

Why don't you run against him next time?

Ditto's Hyunchback all the way. :iagree:

But no surprises there. All liberals, all socialists.

It's time for them to go. Start opposing them, and watch them squirm. That's half the fun. :thumbs2:

All of these are against the Constitution in its entirety. They believe the Constitution should be set aside at their convenience, only implemented when it suits them.

1) Thanks to redistricting, my district now looks like a strand of spaghetti extending all the way to the RGV. It's probably one of the "safest" districts in TX for a left wing welfare state Democrat.

2) I'm no politician. When I speak my mind, a few people snicker and nod their heads in agreement, and a whole lot more just flat get angry (at me). Heck, most of the people on this board think I'm some kind of gun grabber. So how many of Hinojosa's supporters do you think I could win over?

I'd have a better chance of making the NBA All Star Team at 5'4" and 57 years old.

People who see the Constitution as tissue paper really hate the 2nd Amendment since it's the ONLY one that enforces all the rest. Without it freedom of religion is nullified. Can't have freedom of religion if you are kept from church at gun point. Freedom of the press is meaningless if the cops take your writings away and destroy them at gun point.

Why will our parent nations in Europe die of the Sharia plague? Because they first took away the right to self defense with the best tools available.

Free men are armed men. Disarmed men are subjects.
