Since the anti's are having a hard time getting new gun laws for civillians passed looks like they might be focusing on LEO's instead.

Library of Congress Agents Ask Lawmakers to Give Them Back Their Guns

Investigators with the Library's Office of the Inspector General have raised a string of objections after Congress stripped them of their ability to buy and carry firearms in the fiscal 2009 omnibus spending bill. They could get their wish.

thanks for posting! Wow! Some Dems are shooting themselves in the foot over there over zealousness about gun control.

Why should "library police" get guns when normal folks cant?

Tell me about it, I need to take my renewal class and the only 9mm I have is my high dollar carry ammo and I am not going to use it to qualify with.

Police ARE civilians, unless they are in the military and subject to the UCMJ.
