National Park Carry

#1

Post by Bob Landry »

I know CCW is allowed, but is open carry allowed in National Parks where state law allows it, such as in Arizona? I'm not too interested in the IANAL or maybe type answers, but if someone could direct me to a reliable info source, it would be appreciated.

As I understand it, you are now not prohibited from carrying in a national Park, as applicable to the carry laws of the state in which the park is located. So if in a national park in Texas, it's concealed carry only(but only if you have a CHL); for AZ, if open carry is permitted, then open carry is allowed if in a national park in Arizona.

:iagree: What Joe said. Be advised that no carry is allowed in any facility/structure where Federal employees are doing whatever they're doing.
