U.S Park Police lost track of thousands of guns......

Fast & Furious II?
In the scathing report, the inspector general's office of the Department of Interior faults staff at the agency for having no idea how many weapons they control and says the department has no clear policies or procedures for investigating missing weapons. The office said top managers, including the police chief, have shown a "lackadaisical attitude toward firearms management."

I liked this part. "In the scathing report, the inspector general's office of the Department of Interior faults staff at the agency for having no idea how many weapons they control and says the department has no clear policies or procedures for investigating missing weapons. What are some of the laws in DC about registration and storage for the people that live there and pass through.

I am sure nothing big will happen for this major screw-up. But, if you are an FFL or employee of one and one box is not checked (plus you legally sold guns to the mother of the Newtown killer) they will prosecute you. It is real easy to make a mistake on a 4473 form and the ATF will prosecute this guy yet I doubt the ATF will do anything to the persons responsible for all these lost firearms.

Incompetence is always a plausible explanation for government employee screw-ups, but not always the real explanation.

Were those firearms sent somewhere in support of some policy these communists are aiding without Congress or others k owing?
