Like the one college girl stated, I like the idea of a free education and redistribution of wealth. When asked how Burny was going to pay for it she said, I don't know, and acted like she didn't care.

And there is one example of why the voting age should not have been lowered. There's a chance that this socialist cretin can be elected by a bunch of DA, free-loading kids who have never had to earn a frazzlin' dime in their free-loading lives.

And most of those couldn't tell you two sentences about 911, or the Berlin Wall, or Europe's implosion from debt.
Do what you say you're gonna do.

God help us get through this. The fact that Sanders is even in the race is frightening.

for better or worse, it's highly unlikely Bernie could actually win the nomination. The DNC has something like 400 superdelegates that aren't required to vote based on the results of any election. If bern doesn't destroy Hillary all across the nation, then the DNC will still gift her the nomination. Iowa and New Hampshire and Vermont are the only states that were pro-Bernie as of a week ago. Of course, I think that Bernie would be much easier to beat in the general election than Hillary. But on principle I don't even want bern to be an option. Hillary is bad enough, but at least people know that she's just another political lifer who's been running for president pretty much ever since Bill was impeached.

If Bernie does win the nomination, what are the odds that he dies of a stroke or a heart attack and the whole DNC becomes one long "weekend at Bernie's" so that they can attempt to win the election and get Hillary in there as Bernie's VP.

It is. Also, as several have commented, many of us aren't really sold on Trump's sincerety. Does he really mean what he says or will he simply change his mind. I think he started out looking for a little exposure, figured he'd say some outrageous stuff and eventually leave the race after getting a bunch of free PR. Only, a funny thing happened. Trump began rising in the polls, then winning... Now he's sort of a prisoner to his own (probably unexpected) success.

If you want to blame anyone for the rise of Trump, look right to the core of the Republican Party. They supported Boehner, McConnel and the like, essentially kow towing to Obama and ignoring their actual base. The future of the GOP is much more Libertarian and Constitutionalist than the current GOPe.

If Sanders were somehow to win, I believe we would see a real life Constitutional Crisis as various States began to pull back from their participation in the "Union".

I do not disagree, FWIW.

I think Obama's voice, intonation, inflection etc. is annoying in the extreme, but listening to Sanders repellent accent and manner of speech would make me seek euthanasia.

While I appreciate Sander's is a creaky, old gasbag, additionally, he ALWAYS looks like an unmade bed.
