DH got the same message this morning. He has been waiting on "paperwork on their end" for over a month. We do not know the nature of the paperwok but believe it to be county related. I guess we will wait for that letter alsoac-mech wrote:incomplete application, missing information, detailed letter sent.

We will do all we can to keep you busy so the wait will not get boring. And by the way, there are West Texas, South Plains Texans covied up like quail all over this forum. Only place to hide back there is Dalhart. Only reason you can hide there is nobody wants to go look there.
Practice while you wait. On the range, in the house (edit here: dry fire, dry fire, dry fire ), get your cover ready, be they shirts, vests, or what ever. There is lots to do.

Carry 24-7 or guess right.

56 days? That is very encouraging. Now you get to wait the 3 days max it should take to get there!
I hope to have my packet completed and turned in within a month. It'd be sooner but the weekends are the only time I can go, and my brother leaves for college on the West Coast in a few weeks - trying to spend as much time with him as I can. Hopefully I experience the short wait time that you did!
