RX8er, that's a great video! I watched it last year while waiting on my plastic and found it very helpful and entertaining. Thanks again for sharing.
jayinsat, Thanks for the kind words. :tiphat:

I've had my plastic a little over a week. My first trip was to 7-11, a bite to eat then the Wally-Walk (still no ammo on the shelves). I carried for the first couple of days without one in the chamber, but as I got more and more comfortable I racked one in. It took me a day or two to go from OMG Overly careful to just "aware and careful".

I can honestly say that I have not left the house un-armed since the plastic came in.

I'm with ya on that one..

My first outing was dinner then Justice and Old Navy with my daughter so that meant walking the dreaded mall.. Then onto the Target walk. Within 24hrs I had been to Worst Buy, Academy, On the Border, Texas Road House, my LGS and yes finally Wal-Mart for a few things (of course no ammo).

The only time I have to leave it in the truck is at work each day.. :banghead: :banghead:

Bolted one of these under the rear seat of my crewmax to store them in. http://www.bestop.com/storage-and-racks ... rage-boxes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

i've actually been carrying mine around a bit..... mom and dad's, around the house, when we are off in the middle of nowhere with the boat. just to see if anyone notices, and to get comfotable with one 'on person'. in fact, i think i'll carry to dinner tonight... it's fun to be an outlaw sometimes.. :)

i've always thought the 2nd amendment was my carry permit.... :coolgleamA:

the 1911 still tucks easily enough, though i think an officer model might be on the list. you guys can have your no safety, reverse safety, de-cocker, etc... i'll stick with what i know.. although i'm gonna buy an LC9, just because i think they are so cool... and it would fit in my shirt pocket.

I know, I can't stand going into Walmart either. But I think I might do it next week after my CHL arrives just for the sake of tradition :patriot:
