Finally!!

Here's my timeline...

DPS received my packet on 7 March.
Received PIN 26 April.
Received letter dated 17 May from DPS stating that my fingerprint cards needed to be redone.
Returned new fingerprint cards to DPS on 24 May.
Received CHL in mail today, 22 June.

As a side note, like some others on the board, I used the FAST service from Identix to redo my fingerprints. They seemed professional and provided good service. I called and talked to a DPS person about the FAST service, and they said that FAST has about a 98% acceptance rate compared to about 70% for traditional ink. I realize that there will still be some of the FAST fingerprint cards returned, but with those odds, I would have used the FAST service for the initial submittal had I been aware of it.

Since I can't carry at the office, I'm anxious to exercise my 2A rights this evening! Don't get me wrong, it's been fun here in the waiting room, but I'm glad to open up a seat for someone else!

Wow....Wrightcrew actually, that was a remarkable short wait there....looking at the dates and with the re-prints!

Any ideas as to why it went so fast?...other than a fine upstanding citizen...
u in Federal Government?...Judge?, etc.
Definitely under 60 days....
