IWBOWBCHL??????

#1

Post by thebigapp »

Hey! I am new to the forum and waiting my license. While reading many post, I notice many acronyms and don't really know what they stand for. :confused5 I have some guesses, but am curious if there is a list on the forum somewhere that explains what each of them are?

Thanks and have a good one!

Thanks RPB. That is what I was thinking on those two, but wanted to make sure and not make an idiot out of myself.

I need to remember some of the others as well. Very entertaining on some of them.. :lol:

A couple of my favorites...

SBR = short-barrelled rifle

but

EBR = "Evil" black rifle

EDC = Every Day Carry ... usually refers to what equipment/gun you carry every day viewtopic.php?f=83&t=50450" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; EDC knife .... and viewtopic.php?f=83&t=48227" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; EDC song

SOB = Small of the Back carry/holster (which is a position, and can be either IWB or OWB ;-) )

Thanks to everyone for giving references. :tiphat: I still find myself coming back to this thread while reading some of the post. The list is nice to be able to refer back to when I start to get confused. Eventually I will learn them all. You would think after being in the military, it would come natural to figure these things out.
