How long was your wait?

About six weeks for me, about four months for wifey (a huge screw-up with fingerprints between L-1 and DPS.)

2nd renewal - Took class on 9/15. Submitted paperwork on 9/18. Website said permit was mailed on 9/21. Received in the mail Thursday, 9/27. Overall took 9 days after I mailed it. I guess since they use your prior info, i.e. fingerprints and photos, that cuts down a whole bunch on wait time.

Not necessarily. My renewal took 47 days. As others have noted, it really seems to depend on who's desk it lands on.

But if this was the second renewal that doesn't need the class or BC, then I guess that would explain the short time.
