Okay, don't kill me but I got mine in 20 days

Over the weekend I was frustrated to find I couldn't check the status of my application on the CHL web site, so of course the mailman delivered a nice surprise this afternoon.

FYI: Submitted all my material online exactly 20 days ago. First time application. I was waiting on a supplemental information request for a misdemeanor arrest I had 17 yrs ago on an unpaid speeding ticket. Apparently, it wasn't required.

I have to say, my hat is off to the state employees running that office.

Thanks! Think I'll buy a new gun to celebrate :patriot:

I was fully anticipating a 50 ~ 60 day wait so this was a very pleasant surprise.

Hey I'm happy for you, mine took 143 days. Just got it yesterday, started in February.

Congrats to you for finally getting yours. That's a hell of a wait!

I'm in the 'reevaluating my holsters, what I carry, and clothing options' phase, now that I've got my license. It's a little silly, but I was perfectly happy with my guns and holsters before yesterday. ;-)

I submitted the online application on June 6, did prints on June 12, took the class and submitted all documents on June 14.

Got my license in the mail today. 19 days from submitting docs to receipt of license.

The wife submitted all of her stuff the same time as I did, hasn't received anything yet.
