Received email to resubmit my documents... grr

I originally sent my CHL class certificate and 100 on August 25th. Fingerprints were submitted on the 20th of Aug. I was emailed on the 28th that if I could resent the documents because they were too small. I did that of course.

Well fast forward to today the 9th, and I just received an email that I need to resubmit my documents. I just did that. I replied back with documents attached and asking Caballero if my background has cleared now because I did my background three weeks ago and/or any update she could give me.

Does anyone know if this means my sixty days starts over from my resubmit? I would surely like to think not.

I don't think the clock starts until DPS receives everything. That's why some people use certified mail to be sure. Good luck.

It cost a couple of dollars extra to mail mine today with tracking but worth it for the peace of mind. I do it for my income taxes too.
