I had my prints done on 10/1

I received a letter dated 10/7 (mailed 10/9) that I need to submit my prints within 90 days of the letter or my application is void.

Is it common for the L1 contractors to drop the ball like this? Not really sure what to do at this point. :???:

Welp, I guess calling them gets the ball rolling, I'm not sure. But I just checked and am able to make changes. ;-)

Looks like about 4 business days transit time (giving 2 days processing and 2 days travel) 'til I get it. :waiting:

Called yesterday, spoke with a nice lady, she stated that they did not receive my CHL-100 when I submitted my ppwk on 9/23, but everything else is done. I stated I didn't receive a notice as to such, but said I would re-submit immediately. So, hopefully soon I'll see the status change!

I mailed my paperwWeork in on 6 October, had the status change Tuesday or Wednesday and my plastic arrived today. That makes an 11 day turn around. Well played DPS, well played.

Funny thing is that I mailed my wife's papers in at the same time and her status hasn't changed yet.

I believe I would have kept the fact that mine came in hidden till she had hers.... Happy wife, happy life. Lol! :)

Hi all. I took the class on 9/27 and submitted all my stuff on 10/3 (even paperwork from my Class A misdemeanor) I first found the forum yesterday and read about the status change thing, I looked online and my status had changed, listing the change information stuff, as of today, no CHL in mail. I will post when it come in.

You mean I shouldn't have been walking around for the last few days calling her " the criminal element of the house"? Or asking about her "checkered past"?

Fun while it lasted. Hers came in the mail yesterday. Eleven days for mine, 16 days for hers. Not a bad wait at all.

Hello Folks, been lurking for awhile and figured i'd go ahead and register and get in line here in the waiting room. lots of good info here, thanks ahead of time to all the senior members here for helping out us rookies!

10-4 - completed CHL class
10-27 - submitted application and CHL-100 form
10-29 - finger printing done
11-5 - called to verify all documents received, informed me my fingerprints had just come in that day. everything now being processed. seems there is a little lag time between prints taken and prints received.
12-2 - got the status change yesterday, guess that means the plastic is on the way!

that puts me right at 4 weeks almost to the day.
now to prepare for the ceremonial wally walk!

let the waiting begin!
