New Application, June 2015

#1

Post by baldsuspect »

I have been keeping an eye on this forum trying to figure out the current time frame for new CHL applications. I figured I'd post my info for others who have/are applying around the same time...

CHL Class Completed: 6/6/15
Submitted Application, and scanned CHL-100: 6/8/15
Finger Prints Submitted: 6/8/15

As of today there is no "status change" on DPS website.

On a side note: I took the class with my father, and his timeline is exactly the same. He received plastic in hand 6/28/15. That's a pretty impressive turnaround time!

I sent my stuff in 6/8. My status changed late yesterday or very early this am.

Yeah, I called them today and they said my application has been approved and they are waiting for it to be printed! Now I can't stop checking the status every 10 minutes. I need to find something else to keep my mind occupied...

7/1/15: I got a "status change" over night, which means it's been printed! The mailman is going to be my best friend over the next few days...

Welcome to the Forum. It's amazing how many people have the same "New CHL Fever" symptoms! You're not alone.
