I submitted my documents through the mail. It took them two weeks to acknowledge they received them and put my info on the site so I could check the status.
8/4: State uploaded my information so I could check the status.
9/1: background check complete. License is printing.

Hi all - new to the forum and cc. just wanted to share my story and timeline: I filled out online app 8/22 took class 8/23 fingerprints on 8/25 --- received my LTC in the mail on sept 18 --- pretty quick considering------ time was less than a month. 
Ive been carrying for the last two days - bodyguard .380 pocket carry ---- only issue I've run into is raging paranoia about 30.----- signs and other 'forbidden' areas.
I go back and forth with weather or not I need to carry all the time, then I watch the news....... sigh. its a crazy world out there so option 1 is always get out but if that doesnt work, its good to have a "plan b".
good luck to all, just thought Id share my timeline for those out there waiting.

we have the right to defend ourselves if needed. (hopefully it never will be).
