They found a few paces that she has bulging discs and pinched nerves. She has spinal fluid leaking and that is what is causing all of her headaches. The did two “blood patches” today. I can’t explain those because I have been bombarded with medical advice and procedures so my mind has just about shut down. Your prayers are coveted.

My wife has major back problems and has had blood patches.

The idea is to put a small amount of blood on the point where spinal fluid is leaking. If all goes well the blood clots and plugs up the hole, stopping the leak.

Finding the bulging discs and pinched nerves is a good thing. Its likely those can be treated.

Continuing with the prayers for you both - you've got a difficult road ahead.

Afraid not. Parkland turned us down so we are appealing that. We have paper work that should be going through Southwestern soon. She has had another stay in Baylor at Irving for five days. Nothing new other than the scan did change except for the worse.

Last Tuesday we have a doctor. They started my wife on a blood thinning regiment that they think is best. We are so relieved and appreciative of your prayers.

The neurologist and our cardiologist. Because of her heart condition they both have to work together. What is amazing is we have had our cardiologist and he found out about my wife’s problems and his said this is solved and he made one phone call.
