Prayers for Officer Injured In Shooting

Officer Aaron Pearson of the Springfield, MO PD was seriously injured by a gunshot to the head received while responding to a domestic disturbance. Officer Pearson's father-in-law is a former high school friend and retired Springfield police officer. We served as LEO's together many years ago in another city when I was a reserve officer. He is the gentleman in the photo shown in the article beside Officer Pearson's wife (his daughter). Officer Pearson's father is also an active Sheriff's Deputy in Missouri.

Please pray for Officer Pearson's family and for his overall recovery. Word is he will have a long road of therapy and rehabilitation ahead of him at a minimum. They don't have any idea at this time how extensive any injury to the brain is, so they are hopeful for good news.
