My uncle's family

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

My uncle's family

#1

Post by The Annoyed Man »

My last surviving uncle, Dana, the youngest brother of my late father, passed away last night in Flagstaff from a massive heart attack. He had turned 88 yrs old in April. Although he'd had bypass surgery 10 or 12 years ago, he had not been complaining of any pain or anything, so his death was unexpected.

Please pray For his daughter Elizabeth, granddaughter Dana, sons Tim and Paul, and his wife Gretchen, that they might find comfort in knowing that he did not suffer, and that the whole family might be brought closer in their walk with God as a result. Dana was a retired Presbyterian minister, but had been away from the church for a while.

Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for the 11th of July, so my wife and I will be traveling to Flagstaff to attend.
