Prayers for my daughter and her family

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Thank you all for your prayers. There is a little glimmer of hope. It does not look like my grandson will require surgery. He has both arms in casts. Not sure how he is going to do his homework but knowing him, he will find a way. He says he needs to get a girl friend and have her write for him. Only from a 13 year old

Prayers sent for your daughter, and family. Glad to hear your grandson is doing ok and has a sense of humor about his situation. I'll send up and extra prayer for a sympathetic 13 year old girl to assist him with his homework.

Sounds like even with his trials he has a great spirit especially for a teenager.

I went to Houston to visit with them and pray with them this weekend. My daughter waited until Saturday to tell my grandson about the cancer. He is a trooper. Doing whatever he can to help her keep her spirits up and help around the house as much as he can. Love that boy.

Update: just received a call from my daughter and she has met with the surgeon this morning. She is at stage 2. They are waiting on 1 more test and then meet with the oncologist on Monday to get a course of action. The surgeon told her it could be anywhere from a simple lumpectomy to double mastectomy with hysterectomy.
We appreciate all prayers and please keep them coming.

A little update on my daughter. She is now in week 4 of 22 weeks of chemo, after which she will be having a mastectomy. She has been doing pretty well and her spirits are pretty high. She shaved her head when she first started losing her hair because she said she was not going to let chemo or cancer take it, she would rather do it herself.
As for my grandson, he has had both casts removed and seems to be doing okay.

22 weeks? wow! I'll be praying for her, make sure she takes care of herself and gets lots of rest.

Needing continued prayers for my daughter and family. She has completed 22 weeks of chemotherapy and now she goes in for a mastectomy on Monday and then, if all is well with this surgery, she will go back on November 1st for reconstructive surgery.
