My Daughter at Steel Challenge......

Post by AggieMM »

Last night, my daughter (12) and I attended a local Thursday Night Steel Challenge Match. I was so proud of her that I thought I would share. She did great, getting 25th outta 38 competitors. Look out boys, here she comes!!!!! :coolgleamA:

This brought a tear of pride to my eye! Or was it that my baby was this big yesterday and is now taller than me! Time flies - enjoy!!

I showed this to my daughter, hoping it might spark some interest in competing, but the only comment she had was, "Cool ear muffs."

Awesome video Dad! You should be very proud. My son loves to shoot with me but my daughter doesn't want anything to do with firearms :banghead: She's the one that will be be on her own first but I'll just keep trying. My wife was the same as her until she finally came to the range with me one day then wanted her own gun a week later.

Awesome! Can't wait til my son can pick up a gun and draw a bead. He's 7 months, so we have a little bit. Gives me time to get good so he'll have someone to look up to. :thumbs2:

Since I'm new to this site, I'm seeing a lot to which I'd like to respond, but some are too old to bring up. Please forgive if this one is too old.

Great to see young ladies out shooting. I'm going to get both my daughters, 11 & 13, up to speed soon. They'll be in good company. Tell your daughter to keep up the good work!

This one is still fairly young. We get some real necromancers around hear sometimes that resurrect threads that are years old.
