Hi everyone!

Brand new to this forum, looking for info on the CHL process and other firearm and self defense topics.

Yes, I live in NJ. Go easy on me. But feel free to ask anything.

When do you plan to take the CHL class at Crossfire Training?

By the way you chose the best place to take your training.

Ah, an age old question... unfortunately the part of NJ I live in is the far NW corner of the state, the nearest major highway we are near to is I-84 in NY/PA.

Lots of people up there. My late wife and I were famous within our family for taking long rambling road trips. Living near Albany we could get all the way to Canada, NJ, PA, VT, MA, CT, & RI and back home in a single day and enjoy ourselves thoroughly. Her dentist was in Ellenville NY, about 80 miles south of where we lived, and it was not unusual for us to start a ramble from there, and getting into NJ and then crossing the state to head north was an option.

One trip we found an old fashioned country diner somewhere along or near Rte 206 and always meant to go back there but never did, this was more than 21 years ago, so I have nothing but the foggiest memory of the place, just a wide spot in the road. We would stay off the interstates unless and until we got in a hurry to get home.
