Hello from Austin

#1

Post by Wabbit69 »

Just joined tonight, and didn't see a "New Member" sticky on the forum (Mods feel free to move this or delete it and direct me to the applicable thread at your discretion). From other forums that I'm on, I just figured a hello and proper introduction is the right thing to do before posting anything else.

Married, homeowner, kids and grandkids. Still young enough to keep up with them on the paintball field, though. Live in Austin. Work at a major institution of higher education (read NPE) as a technician. CHL holder for about a year and a half. Walther PPQ M2 in 9mm, carried AIWB in a Dale Fricke Kydex.

I try to get at least two weekend courses per year in, plus quarterly workshops and monthly trips to the range for fundamentals tune-up. Not all of it is for pistols, though. I think other skills are important, too.

Welcome to the Forum.

There used to be an "Introduce Yourself" section but where you posted works for me.

Thanks for the introduction. Hope to see you around often.

Wabbit, welcome :cheers2:

I too work at a "major institution of higher education" here in Austin. Glad to know there's at least one more of us in this town.
