Rehasing Sea World (San Antonio) - Pic of 30.06 sign..

Post by AggieMM »

There has been much debate on another forum (AR15.com) about carrying at Sea World in San Antonio. "Rumors" of 30.06 sign have now been confirmed with a picture, thought I'd share.

Have you entered this in the texas3006.com database?

Gee, I wonder which "friend" tried to "help the cause" by telling them they weren't posting valid signs?

Well it is PRIVATE PROPERTY, its pretty clear they NEVER wanted you to carry, now it offical.
I aint going to Sea World either way, its full of them killer whales, and now I cant even carry to protect myself.
So heres what we can do
1. Dont tell people about 30.06
2. Pressure Texas to pass laws saying that banning carry on private property is illegal
3. Dont go to sea world
I choose 1 and 3

I live less than 15 minutes from the gate and have family with kids. I'll be going to SeaWorld....and I too would like to thank the bonehead that brought up the wrong signs. This is new this year as I went in October for Fright Fest and it was not there or anywhere.

Doug :txflag:

Edited - Corrected Fight Fest (would be neat to see though - Certain elected folks vs White Shark) to Fright Fest.

Is it possible one of the employees, a local LEO, or their Team of Lawyers figured it out?

The sign on the left looks the same as the ones on the parking garages at Harris Methodist in Fort Worth. Every where you can drive in/out or walk in/out its there. I read it pulling in an said "OK, it's posted" After the 3rd sign before entering the main building i was thinking man, they spent some money on all these signs. Sorry to get off the original topic!

sorry, let me explain

Generally if the sign is close enough, we will say something along the line of
"I wouldnt want to test that in court"

Basically if the sign is "Close enough" to complaint than most LEOs and Judges are going to say "Close Enough" and charge you with breaking the law.

SO when I say "Ask a Judge" I was referring to you going to trail.

They look about an Inch high to me, I aint driving to check though
Sorry just ribbing you alittle

Unfortunatly.... with my kiddos, I HAVE to go to SeaWorld this summer..... I want to go to the Alamo, I am assuming it is allowable to carry? Esp where I would have to park and walk from.

Yeah, I knew what you were getting at. I wasn't suggesting anybody test it -- was just wondering if the sign actually met the requirements -- since the law specifies the requirements for the sign.
