If a cop killed two suspects in such a short period, wouldn't you want some watchdog sniffing around to make sure we didn't have a trigger-happy lawman on the street? You would if you know what's good for you. And cops are trained. Walton is just a gifted amateur. It behooves us to know whether he might be a little loose with his lead.
If a woman is raped twice in two weeks, and shoots both assailants, is RA going to ask the woman if she is 'asking for it'?

Russell - I agree with you. What we fail to understand though is that the majority of the media look at the criminal as a victim.

Ugh! I was shocked at the same point too. Walton was not shooting in the streets!

Well just got an e-mail asking if they had my permission to print my letter to the editor, so who knows. Don't know if that's SOP for them or if I might actually have a shot of getting my response in the next issue, we'll see.
Success always occurs in private, and failure in full view.

Russell wrote:The giant difference between a police officer shooting somebody and Walton shooting the burglars that *should* have smacked Patrick Williams in the face, is this:

THE BURGLARS ILLEGALLY ENTERED WALTON'S HOUSE AND PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT.

How hard is that to understand? They were not invited.....
My thoughts exactly. (See signature line.)
"If a man breaks in your house, he ain't there for iced tea." Mom & Dad.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

I wrote a reply to the editor on this article....I got an email from them about an hour ago asking permission for it to print. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Basic respect

I wish the media would employ basic respect when speaking to people.
Big round, Little round, Having one is what counts!!!
