Dallas Museum of Art -- King Tut exhibit

#1

Post by camjr »

I'm taking the kids to the DMA for the King Tut exhibit on Monday over spring break. I checked the 30.06 website and didn't see anything, so I'm putting it to the group. Does anyone know if DMA is posted 30.06 in the PROPER manner?

Cheers!

They have a 30.06 sign posted on the glass on the North entrance. When I went back in December I didn't see one at the Tut entrance on the East side. The DMA was covered in a previous post sometime back. If you do a search you should be able to find it.

I carried when I visited the exhibit. I did not notice any 30.06 signs while I was there. I came in through the King Tut specific entrance and I looked very closely for signs and didn't see any.

How much was it to get in? I didn't realize it was in Dallas. Do you have to buy tickets beforehand or can I get them at the door?

I went with my son to it a couple of weeks ago. I didn't see any signs at any entrance.

Tickets can be bought at TicketMaster.com. Individual tickets are $32 for adults, and $16 for children. The best deal is the Family 4 pack, where tickets are $19 each. You can find more about the exhibit here

If you are going to go, better do it soon. The exhibit only runs through May and is gone after that. There are only 3 cities in the whole US getting the chance to host the exhibit.

I didn't see any signage yesterday. Family 4 pack of tix is the way to go, and get the audio upgrade. Make sure to go on any day except Monday (the rest of the museum is closed on Monday, along with the other museums in the area).

Camjr gives it "two thumbs up" :thumbs2: :thumbs2:

Wish we could afford to go, but there isn't a Family 5-pack, so it'd run over $100 for us to see it.
