It was a simple question my friends. I don't carry under mpa but someone without chl might could expect a decent answer.

Well I got stopped out here in Ft.Bend county last week. He asked me for my liscence.
So I gave him my DL and my CHL. He asked if I had my pistol on me. I said yes sir . He gave back
the CHL and went and wrote me a warning ticket. :shock: Thank You

that may be true ,
however there are new members joining all the time ,
so i think its good to have some discussions more than once .

I'll be the oddball. DPS recommends notifying the officer of your CHL status and that you're carrying "as soon as possible," so this would suggest that you should announce that you are CHL holder before (or while) you hand him the DL and CHL.
