Very good choice! And I have that same holster in a left-handed model.

How much did that put you back, if you don't mind me asking?

I love mine. Had it for about two years. Some of the blueing is worn off from carrying it. :cheers2:

I would recommend Wilson Combat Mags. My Kimber mags have never been 100% reliable. :headscratch

Nice looking toy, congrats!! I have been going back and forth trying to decide if i want to go with a kimber or a glock for a CCW. I need to get my hands on a Kimber and see how it feels.

Warning : Once you handle a Kimber (or any 1911) , you may never go back to anything else. ;-)

That actually is the hope :clapping: Ive never handled a 1911 but i figured the design has been around for so long, it must work just fine. Weight is the issue for me but there is a trade off when moving to a .45
