Has anyone visited the Capitol in the last month or so and used the CHL lane? If so, what was your experience. Once you made it through whatever line there was, how long was the actual screening process?
Thanks

Thank you, I still would be interested in knowing if anyone has been through in the last 30 days or so.

I really like your FAQ's elb, so don't take this the wrong way:

Re: State Capitol
I've been there but early in the morning around 8:00 within the last two weeks. The CHL lane is located on the right side of the South entry. I handed a trooper my CHL and drivers license. He tried to use a computer to verify my id ... it did not work so he used hand held walkie-talkie (or whatever it is called) and called in my data. It took about 3 minutes. Oh ... he asked if I was carrying before he called in my data. I replied yes. He was friendly and waved me through. There were about six troopers hanging around. I was the only person there besides the troopers. Everything was smooth in my view.

Standby one.

This is roughly what happened when I visited awhile back (only they used a cell phone instead of radio, I think). I am surprised they haven't got this sorted out yet. Three minutes is way too long IMHO.hangfour wrote: ...
