Yes, the general way that gun shows operate if that they are posted 30.06, but you may bring
your unloaded firearms in, present them to the LEO on duty, and he will make sure the gun is
clear, then use a quick tie on it.

Leave the ammo in your vehicle. It's OK to bring the guns into the show.

I was there today and it wasn't that great. It was my first time at the Allen location. I like going to the gun shows to look at things but felt that one was a waste of time.

FIL is in town and we went yesterday. It was about like all the others, but less vendors. Was pretty disappointed in what was there. Did get to see the new S&W Governor which is their version of the Taurus Judge.

It is posted 30.06. I feel it is not valid to post it, as the center is owned by the city, but they do require you to have your gun zip tied and there were two Allen officers sitting just past the entrance to the door. I left mine locked in the car safe just to avoid the hassle of unloading and reloading it.

I went to the one in Austin on Sunday. I carried my Bersa 9 past the the illegally posted 30.06 and was asked, "Do you have any guns or magazines to declare?" I answered her with an accurate and honest, "No." because I had no intention of declaring my legally carried, concealed firearm.
