Civitas Media never had any plans or intentions of publishing in print or online lists of holders of “conceal and carry” permits. Nor will Civitas Media develop databases of permit holders. A poorly crafted internal memo meant to highlight editorial discussions and planning incorrectly indicated that such a database was being planned; it has been considered and rejected.

Unacceptable! One hacker and they get the info. Why not publish a list of welfare recioients?

It would be a shorter list to post a list of those not on welfare.

I can't find an article about it, but it appears that subsequent to this Ohio made information about permit holders NOT a public record, since an attempt by the Democratic Party of Ohio to obtain names and addresses of permit holders failed due to protection of the law.
