Carry inside school on Sunday

#1

Post by tkc723 »

Our church meets inside a school on Sundays. I hate disarming in the parking lot. Has anyone ever requested and received permission from the school district to carry inside the building? It would only be Sunday mornings and there are no other school events meeting in the building. Do I have a chance getting approved or am I wasting my time?

You are likely wasting your time, but concealed means concealed.

I am not suggesting anything, but you are VERY right. Getting caught with a pistol in that building would be serious trouble.

You might be able to get permission, but it is very unlikely unless it is in a gun friendly district that allows teachers to carry concealed. Written permssion would have to come from the school superintendent or the board.

The school is not authorized to give you permission.

Actually, the school is specifically authorized by the legislature to give him permission. ;)

Oh, my apologies. Then to what does "concealed means concealed" reference? :confused5
