Do you have to have your Texas id and your chl while carrying, or just your chl?
While jogging, walking ,mowing ect. Do you need to carry both?

GC §411.205. REQUIREMENT TO DISPLAY LICENSE. If a license holder is
carrying a handgun on or about the license holder’s person when a magistrate or
a peace officer demands that the license holder display identification, the license
holder shall display both the license holder’s driver’s license or identification
certificate issued by the department and the license holder’s handgun license.
In other words, you need both. :tiphat:

This should have been covered in your CHL class. There's so much information forgetting some things is almost expected. Feel free to ask anything else.

My brain went to driving, because that is the only time I have been asked for ID by a LEO in my lifetime.
