Does anyone know of a trick to help me remember the word 'mnemonic'?

I don't agree. There is a long and valid history of "real men" (and "real women") being willing to stand up for justice, for the defenseless, to deter aggression, and to protect against evil. Sometimes "stand up" includes the need to use force or deadly force.

I boxed a little and had a few bar room fights from time to time. One thing that finally sunk in; even the fights that I won, I was often damaged just as bad as the guy who lost!

Today I have gained a lot more wisdom. I avoid fights and I carry.

I haven't been in a fist fight since grade school and don't plan on ever being in one again. I don't believe in "fair fights".

Maybe it is an attempt to subliminally steer the kids away from illegal use of firearms?

Could be & I did think of that but there are still a LOT of MUCH better ways to do that.
If they are going to break the law they can get in just as much trouble beating up people as they can w/ a gun. Watch the gang video here of Misouri assault.
