2 state issued id"S

#1

Post by Gunner4640 »

I just got my renewal of my DL in the mail and the letter said to destroy my other license. I am good with that but it said it is illegal to have either 2 dl's or 2 id's or a combination of either. Since a CHL is also a state issued ID does that count as 2 ID's ? :???:

You can't have 2 of the same ID.

According to DPS, the TX CHL is not a form of ID. It is, however, a supporting document that can be used to establish identity.
