Post by Chubblesdc »

I need a clear answer on this please. I am trying to get my chl and I need to know is the 5 years after the first DWI from the conviction date or the release of probation date I have researched this extensively and have had no progress. I know I was an idiot when I was younger please do not comment on the DWI and myself I am just looking for clarification on this issue.

It's from the conviction date. If it was a felony DWI, then you will not be eligible.

Thank you so much when I did my application online I turned in every piece in about the DWI and they did not put anything on the checklist about it but my instructor did not know the answer. My release from probation was November 2010 so I was concerned.
