Someone should use the tactics of the liberals and investigate how he paid for the thousands of signs he's handing out.

I didn't realize it took a high priced legal department to get the wording of a 30.07 sign correct. ...lol what a moron

Ha. Fail at the end of the video as well.
Amusement parks and places of worship must still be posted.

I guess KSAT is one of those small businesses that cannot afford a high priced legal department to get things right.

That is NOT the worst idea I ever heard.

I can't say I have much experience with open carry as it was unthinkable in CA where I lived before moving back here. The only time I have seen it was in San Antonio at a Jason's Deli.

The place was packed, all sorts of folks, ages, races, outfits, military, apparent hobos, etc. There were 5 or 6 men and women with pistols on their belts, neatly dressed, well groomed, slacks, golf/polo shirts, getting their salad bars, drinks and sandwiches, and if you looked closely, you could see the badges on their shirts or belts. Nobody paid them the slightest attention.

My guess is if one doesn't draw attention to oneself, you won't get any. Outlandish costumes, wild hairdos, eccentric behavior, will draw attention, just like now.

The fellow in the video hasn't thought this out, I don't think. The legislator and tv crew are an opportunity for publicity, maybe, certainly for the legislator.

How much better an environment, or safer, is it if carry is open, or concealed?

Thry want to ban guns, but can't, and the next best thing is to make pariahs of those who chose to carry.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

Why is OCT always quoted and co-opted every conversation about Open Carry or guns in articles like this. Seriously? Oh, because, well I guess we know.

Um, correct me if I am wrong but shops could just run business as usual and still follow open carry laws :biggrinjester:

As a matter of fact, we do know... It's because they were the idiots that ran around intentionally scaring the general public and put an ugly face on the image of open carry.

This guy was my "favorite". What a complete dope. I know that this was in Washington, not Texas, but that doesn't change the fact that THIS kind of crap is the face of OCT, thanks in no small part to the nation's media......and OCT is just too stupid to understand that:
