An article that is positive toward CHL actually made it onto Yahoo:

Granted, the Yahoo page is just the first paragraph and links to another website; I'm really surprised this made it to Yahoo's homepage.

The Daily Signal contacted gun control groups Everytown for Gun Safety and the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, but neither responded.

Everytown for Gun Safety—founded by former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg—has focused on opposing state proposals for allowing concealed carry without permits, touting that it helped defeat permitless-carry proposals in 16 states, including pro-gun states such as Texas, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Montana, and West Virginia.

However, the new report reads that in states without required permits to carry, crime has declined.
No surprise that Everytown and the Brady Center did not respond, nor is it a surprise that states without permits also had crime decline.

They don't respond to inquiries from reports doing actual number crunching or research. They just rely on the ignorant masses believing everything that comes out of their mouths.

Brady Center President Dan Gross said, “The fact is, despite the repugnant lies and wild west fantasies peddled by the corporate gun lobby, communities with a greater number of loaded, concealed guns are markedly more dangerous, and their citizens’ lives are at greater risk.”

They just don't get it. :banghead:

So, Mr. Gross is saying that the Texas DPS stats are "repugnant lies and wild west fantasies" and that Texas DPS is a "corporate gun lobby"?

The level of blind stupidity these people spout out of their pie holes is astounding sometimes.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

It just follows their agenda. If you tell a lie long enough maybe it will be believed. Case in point; http://danaloeschradio.com/bloombergs-m ... -testimony

Mr. Gross states as fact what is simply his opinion. Everyone is, of course, welcome to their own opinion, informed by their perception and values. Facts, though, are not so individually different. Too often, proponents of the nanny-state conflate facts with opinions, yet they are seldom called out for doing so.

Joseph Goebbels wrote:On the "Big Lie"

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams
