I'm reminded of some song lyrics:

See honey: there's a place called "heaven" and a place called "hell"
A place called "prison" and a place called "jail"
And da-da's probably on his way to all of em except one

Don't think he's getting out for a while. Well, unless our glorious leader decides to pardon him.

ETA: I did not know the "H" word wasn't allowed. My bad.

Aren't crimes sentenced to prison always felonies? I know that som jail sentences are felonies but I was under the impression that prison=felony.

May be showing my ignorance here, but that is what I have always thought.

If he was on parole, he had been convicted of a State felony. Misdemeanors are usually only served in county jails, and if you are released you may be given probation, but not paroled. Sounds to me like, during his next visit, he needs to study up on Texas law, and learn when to keep his mouth shut in public. He was his own worst enemy.

I tried to order one but they refused to just ship it to my house! They want me to go through all kinds of hoops first. They must be discriminating against me because I only have one gender and it hasn't ever changed. Just wait til Queen Hillary learns of this injustice. She will have their heads!

Good reason to always carry a backup Jennings, and learn some pickpocketing skills. He doesn't need a 1911 on him to go to prison; any gun will do, so why let him waste a good one?

As we say in some circles: This guy is "going down." I would guess they will pull his parole and add a new charge for felon in possession.

Wonder who called the cops---sounds like maybe the manager? Always good to stay on top of problems. Who knows what mayhem the perp. woulda committed had he not been arrested.

Sounds like you handled it well.
Please know and follow the rules of firearms safety.
