deferred adjudication 2006

In 2006 I was sentenced to probation for 5 yrs. Finished early in 2010. My question is do I get TO have a CHL 10YRS FROM DATE SENTENCED OR FINISHED DATE OF PROBATION??? I can own guns etc right now np just can't get a definite answer.

Deferred adjudication for what crime? It's only 5 years for a class A or B misdemeanor, unless you had your chl at that time and had it revoked, in which case it is 6 or 7 years.

There are some offenses that are permanent disqualifies, even with a deferred adjudication. Those are domestic violence and other similar crimes against family for the most part.
