Houston Zoo

Post by Pariah3j »

What is the current status of the Houston Zoo being posted? Was there ever an official ruling or opinion by the AG about it ? I had loosely followed the topic, and seems like its been over a year since I remember reading anything about it, and I believe at that point it was still up in the air. Anyone know ?

I'm pretty sure it is still posted, and if I recall correctly, the signage is very hard to find.

I believe that the AG has noted that the sign is unenforceable because it is on land that is owned by the city or county, but there is no recourse to force the zoo to take the signs down because they are a private entity that has full time use of the land.

But my memory may be foggy on this - someone wiser may know a better answer.
Your best option for personal security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.
When those fail, aim for center mass.

In December, it was posted with 46.03 (English only), 30.06, and 30.07.

Signs are Fine
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
