LTC on U of H campus?

Ok my son is going there this fall. Haha so far I can't make heads or tails of the policy. So what's the skinny?

If you have an LTC, then you can (generally) carrying (concealed only, never open) on the campus and in the buildings.

Each public university has a different policy on excluded areas. You'll need to track down the current version on UH's version to identify those excluded areas.

Will your student be living in the dorms?

If it's not posted 30.06 then it's not off limits for LTC concealed carry.

The document format, particularly the exclusion list, is less than friendly. But the actual policy is about like some others I've looked at, pretty straightforward, which surprised me based on discussions I've overheard from U of H students, alumni, and parents in my corner of Texas.....
