Latest Instructor Info?

Now that the Texas Legislature has adjourned and we can all come out of our caves what is the latest info on how and when and where to renew our instructor certificates?

It's going to take DPS a while to digest the changes and get their lesson plan put together. I'd suspect sometime in July may be the earliest they will email everyone an opportunity to sign up for one-day classes. From other threads here, it looks like they will not be doing their traveling salvation shows; We will all need to go to their training center near Florence. But probably not shoot there - requal each other. If like a few years ago, I am guessing the renewal classes will be ongoing from roughly August thru December. Altho most of the changes go into effect Sept. 1.
